Enjoy some history of the Union Springs area! Thanks to Chris Shattuck and her blog entitled "Happenings in Union Springs", there are three new videos of historical marker dedications. The 1st video recognizes an active suffragette Zobedia Alleman who lived on Homer St., the 2nd video is the South Mill Pond on Factory St. recognizing the importance of available water supply to early businesses, and the 3rd recognizes a former Quaker Meeting House on Cayuga St., now the Springport Library. The historical markers are thanks to the Pomeroy Foundation and the research work of members of the Frontenac Historical Society and the Springport Library.
